1 Policy Overview

At Filing Mantra, we strive to ensure our customers are satisfied with our services. However, due to the nature of professional legal and tax services — which involve significant time, expertise, and interaction with government systems — we have established this policy to manage expectations regarding refunds and cancellations.

This policy applies to all services offered by Filing Mantra, a brand of LogicPro Advisors. By making a payment on our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

2 Government Fees — Non-Refundable

Non-Refundable Clause

Any fees paid to the Government of India — including but not limited to MCA filing fees, GST registration fees, Stamp Duty, Trademark challans, FSSAI license fees, or any other government-designated charges — are strictly non-refundable once the application has been submitted to the respective department or portal.

This is because such fees are collected on behalf of the respective government departments and are beyond our control once submitted. Filing Mantra has no ability to claim a refund of these fees from the government.

  • MCA21 (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) filing fees
  • GST registration and portal fees
  • Stamp duty on Partnership Deeds, MOA, AOA
  • Trademark Office application fees
  • FSSAI and other regulatory body fees
  • Income Tax or any other government challan payments

3 Professional & Service Fees

Refunds for professional service fees charged by Filing Mantra are only considered under the following specific circumstances:

  • Service Not Initiated: If the service has not been initiated within 48 hours of payment — meaning no professional has been assigned and no work has commenced — a full refund may be requested.
  • Error or Negligence by Filing Mantra: If there is a clear error or negligence on the part of Filing Mantra that directly results in the failure of a filing or an incorrect submission, you are entitled to a refund of the professional fees.
  • Service Non-Delivery: If we are unable to deliver the agreed service within a reasonable timeframe due to reasons attributable solely to us.
Processing Fee Deduction

Please note: A standard processing and administrative fee of 20% of the professional service fee will be deducted from any approved refund to cover initial consulting, onboarding, and administrative costs incurred by our team — even in cases where service was not initiated.

Refunds will not be considered in the following scenarios:

  • The service was initiated and work has commenced.
  • Documents were submitted to government portals on your behalf.
  • The delay or failure was caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
  • The client changed their mind after work commenced (see Section 6).

4 Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Send a Refund Request Email

Email us at info@filingmantra.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Order ID]".

Include Required Details

Include your Order ID, registered email address, the service name, reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation.

Review by Accounts Team

Our accounts team will review your request within 5–7 business days and communicate the outcome via email.

Refund Credited

Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment source (credit card, UPI, net banking) within 10–15 working days of approval.

5 Cancellation of Service

Customers may choose to cancel their service before any work has commenced. The following rules apply:

  • Before Work Commences: You may cancel and request a refund of professional fees (subject to the 20% processing fee deduction) if no professional has been assigned and no work has started.
  • After Work Commences — "In-Progress" Status: Once a dedicated professional (CA/CS) has been assigned to your case, or document collection has started, or a draft has been prepared, the service is considered "In-Progress" and is no longer eligible for a full refund.
  • After Government Submission: Once your application or documents have been submitted to a government portal, no cancellation or refund is possible for that filing.

6 Change of Mind

We understand that business decisions can change. However, please note:

No Refund for Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for "change of mind" situations — including if you decide not to proceed with a business venture, change your chosen business structure, or decide to register with a different service provider after our team has already started work. This includes situations where our team has already started legal research, document preparation, or has had substantive consultations on your case.

7 Dispute Resolution

If you are unsatisfied with our decision regarding a refund request, you may escalate the matter:

  • First, contact our senior management at info@filingmantra.com with the subject "Refund Escalation".
  • We will respond within 7 business days with a final resolution.
  • Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
  • This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
